          The Gastronomy in Tubilla of the Lake has evolved to the same rhythm that has done it the History, this way it has happened from the mythical slaughtering of the pigs or the fish stew, to marvellous roasts of lechazo to the oven and to the chuletillas of roast lechazo.

           The gastronomy is clearly influenced by the delicacies that the province offers. Between the specialities burgalesas cannot avoid naming to the " Cheese of Burgos ", fresh cheese with a light flavor to milk of goat, well-known and appreciated in the whole Spain.

    The variety


           The kitchen of Tubilla takes also a big reputation as a good variety of recipes as: Roast lamb, mince of pig, blood sausage, home-loving sausage, cured ham, and the marvellous snails and mushrooms of thistle. Between the specialities of fish they highlight the cod to the burgalesa, the conger to the arandina and the salad of crabs of river, it shows all of them of the most authentic Castilian kitchen.


    The chuletillas of lechazo

           Nevertheless, there is not doubt that in the ranking of plates, the first place it is occupied by the chuletillas of lechazo roasted to the broiler, with ember of vine shoot of the vine, accompanied of the authentic bread of people and how not, of the excellent red wines of The Bank of the Duero.
